The Things He Lets Happen

Aidan arrives in a new city with his wings hidden and his magic under control. He keeps to himself, observes more than he speaks, and never reacts when people test him.

At a school where monsters blend in and rules are flexible, silence draws attention just as easily as chaos. Lines blur. Tension lingers. And some choices don't feel like choices until it's too late.

This is a story about restraint, boredom, and what happens when two people mistake stillness for permission.
