Short story in which a player and a bookworm fall in love. Well, eventually. . "Adrian," Rory pulls back, her soft voice breaking Adrian out of her trance. "Rory, how do you know her?" She asked, trying to keep her voice gentle. She wasn't angry at the girl, she really didn't want her to think that. "She- we used to date, for a while," she shrugged, feeling weirdly ashamed of the fact. It made her skin feel slimy to admit that she was with someone like that, but she didn't seem like that when they were together. Adrian simply surveyed the girl, knowing that launching into a discussion about boundaries wasn't the most comforting thing she could do. That bitch just better hope she doesn't see her again. "Can I make you some soup?"
