Fructus, North Dakota is a town most people have never heard of, except for one thing.
Its fruit.

Every year, the town hosts a massive celebration honoring the harvest that put Fructus on the map. The fruit is said to be unforgettable, sweet, perfect, almost too perfect. Its viral fame is the only thing keeping the town alive, drawing outsiders, money, and praise from millions who never stay long enough to ask questions.

But beneath the orchards and festivals, something is wrong.

When a group of local boys stumble upon a truth the town has buried for decades, they realize Fructus is not just hiding secrets. It is feeding them. Monsters lurk in the shadows between the trees, watching, waiting, and growing stronger with every harvest. The townspeople remain blissfully unaware, or worse, willfully blind.

As disappearances mount and the line between myth and reality begins to blur, Kal and his friends are forced to confront horrors no one else can see. Bound by loyalty and fear, they must decide whether to run from the nightmare or stand against it before Fructus consumes everything they love.
