In the Arms of Time (ITAOT) is a dark, mythic AU set within the Forged Cathedral-a realm of gods, living weapons, and stolen divinity beneath a blood-red sky. At its heart is Daemon, a god forged not through inheritance or cruelty, but through survival. Torn between who they were made to be and who they choose to become, Daemon navigates the ruins left by Telamon, a narcissistic, power-hungry false god who reshaped his swords into children and called it love, training, and destiny.

Raised in secret by Clockwork, the god of time, and alongside Doombringer, justice incarnate before his fall, Daemon grows up surrounded by fractured devotion, quiet tenderness, and looming catastrophe. When corruption takes hold and the past comes calling, time itself becomes both a wound and a refuge-something that can be rewound, shattered, or clung to in desperation.

ITAOT is a story about abuse disguised as divinity, the terror of becoming your parent, and the fragile hope of breaking a cycle written in blood and steel. It explores grief, identity, and chosen family through a lens of cosmic tragedy-where godhood is not a crown, but a consequence, and love is the most dangerous defiance of all.
