This fiction is an alternative ending to the TV show and contains spoilers of the previous episodes. I don't own any of the characters on Stranger Things. I only invented Anna.
PREVIOUSLY ON STRANGER THINGS...
Vecna was revealed as Henry Creel-One-El's first and most dangerous enemy, and his murders tore open massive gates across Hawkins. Max survived his curse, but only barely, and her body was left in a coma while her mind disappeared somewhere inside Vecna's world. With Hawkins cracked open and the Upside Down bleeding through-ash in the air, red lightning overhead, the ground split like it's alive-the town fell into chaos and quarantine. Now the group is out of time: Will can still feel Vecna moving and listening, Hopper warns the military is closing in, and the only way forward is the same way it's always been-together. Their final plan is simple and impossible: climb the radio tower, get inside, find Max, and end Vecna before Hawkins becomes the Upside Down for good.
