The pale one

Thalira Austen is human. Born in Pandora to careless scientists who did not want children. By some miracle she could breathe the air toxic to other humans. Because of this, she was allowed to learn the Na'avi way and attend the school for Na'avi children. She learned their ways, spoke the language better than English, and even learned to hunt. The Na'avi were impressed by the young human, in particular Jake sully and Neitiryi, who felt somewhat responsible for her well-being.
Thalira did not grow up knowing her parents, so clung to the Sully Family who treated her as their own.
When the Sully's had to flee the forest in search of refuge, Thalira was welcomed along.
Neteyem has always seen Thalira, "Lira" to him, as a close friend. He admired her human ways, and often found himself becoming overprotective, unbeknownst to her. Thalira has always had a secret crush on him ,but she knows in her heart it would never work due to her being human. She hated that she would never become a true avatar.

But little did she know of Neteyems yearning..
