The Dragon's Lament [Dark Psychological]

He destroyed its wings with a knife and called the act holy.

They used to call dragons gods. The dragons came to Earth only to leave their progeny and then return to the stars. Creatures that didn't eat, didn't dream, and were worshiped as superior.

Aster had always been stuck below the heavenly stars. He was angry at life, at the fact he had to be a human on the edges of dystopia while the dragons got to be free of these burdens.

When a hatchling appeared before him, he didn't stop to think. Aster would not worship this god. He wanted to be divine instead.
