The idea of their existences quickly became a fictional concept, an agreement made between the king of the vampiric realm and the secretive Council of Mystical Affairs. Through these agreements, humans and vampires could continue to coexist, living amongst the unsuspected, as people you know - Teachers, doctors, celebrities, just to name a few.
Every decade, there is a rip in the realm, allowing the two worlds to collide for a mere few minutes.
