What is love?

Najai, a senior who had just moved from Miami with her mother soon attends Bayside High School in the middle of the year. She's a bit of a shy person, nonsocial mostly. She has a hard time maintaining good grades, until she meets Zykeya, a girl who has lived in Miami her whole life and her boyfriend Luke. He seems nice and loving but behind closed doors it's a whole different story. Najai and Zykeya become good friends and along the way meet a couple of other good friends. They become a pact and never leave each other's side. Did they pick the wrong crowd to be with?
