Christine Leevers's life was uneventful and predictable ever since she got use to her father leaving. The night Christine decides that being social and going to see a cheesy vampire movie with her friends, the dream most teenage girls fantasize about came true. She was bitten by an insanely attractive vampire. But, instead of everything ending up okay and her family accepting that the creature of the night as their daughters boyfriend, she has to leave her life, friends, and family in order to live among the vampire family of Damon, Aiden, and Chance Hensen. The only problem with their plans to relocate until people finally believe Christine's excuse for leaving the state gets foiled when the undercover vampire, Harvey Johnson finds out about the Hensen vampire family hiding Christine, and threatens her to reveal to the vampire court about Christine being hidden. What's the penalty of vampires hiding humans? Oh yeah, death.
