The year is 2356 the apocalypse has already happened, and most of the world is wasteland. The seven major continents are in ruins. The United States and Canada are the only countries that has the supplies for the human race to survive. All of the people who have survived now reside in the U.S and Canada. The military has developed a cure, but they can only give it to the dead. Astrix Vonder is a German teen who witnessed the start of the apocalypse and what she thought to be the end of her life. She lost her whole country, family, all her friends, and her one love to the epidemic. She was shipped to the "Safe land" with the other remaining Germans. Once there she was put to work as a soldier for the air force. But one day on a mission something went horribly wrong. Little did she know she was going to be part of something much larger then she ever thought possible. The "Safe land" is keeping a secret, and Astrix soon finds out that the "Safe land" may not be keeping up to its rightful name. She will have to go through a huge transformation to find the answers she seeks deep in her heart.

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.
