Us Against the World (REVISED)

Mira's life is falling apart. As if her worsening disability wasn't bad enough, the unraveling of her support system has her realizing that a life of independence may be too far from reach. When her mother is injured, Mira takes a job offer from tech mogul Ezra Agent, who she happened to get stuck in an elevator with once.

Ezra is distant, wealthy, and blunt, but his disabled sister is his utmost priority. Hiring Mira to be Aceline's friend is supposed to be a temporary, mutually beneficial affair, if only feelings didn't get involved.

Mira can't trust herself to be in a relationship. Ezra is married to his job. But the heart has never cared for barriers. When a situation threatens Ezra's life in the United States, can he and Mira make their relationship work?
