The Winter Conclave; a time when Elves, Humans and Vampires alike gather, at the start of the year, to keep up the longstanding peace negotiations put in place centuries ago.

Hazel Blackwell, a young human girl who spends her time with law-skirting vampire hunters, gets the chance to attend the annual conclave. What she didn't realize, was that the vampires were to choose a new human emissary to live in their territory for a year.

Now the captive of vampires for one full year, Hazel stays in a Vampire Lords house, next to his Vampiric son, Luka, learning of their culture, traditions, and the royal vampire family.

Will she remain a hunter at heart? Or find herself spiralling ever-deeper into the hands of young, handsome, blood thirsty vampires?
