You all know Maxon as the heir to Illéa's throne, but that was only what King Clarkson wanted everyone to believe. The true heir is his daughter, Ascella, but a woman has never been the first born and Clarkson is not about to be the one to break the male rule of the kingdom.

King Clarkson's royal secrets run deep, but how far is he willing to go to conceal his first born during Maxon's selection?

[This is a Selection fan fiction for the character(s) that I have created. Though this story is written by me, the original series is written by the wonderful Kiera Cass.]

The Selection (Where the King is Nice)

30 parts Complete

As I was reading The Selection series, I was thinking to myself, why is the king so discriminating toward the castes? It annoyed me so much that I decided to write a The Selection book where King Clarkson is actually nice! He won't hate America or any other girl because of her low caste. He will, however, not like other things about the girls... (Such as their guts) Also I'm going to have a lot of plot changes... DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE SELECTION SERIES! IT WON'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO YOU!
