Being Steve Harrington's sister came with a few perks and a lot of rules. The biggest one? Stay away from Billy Hargrove. It was an easy rule to follow, mostly because Brooke couldn't stand the sight of him. She hated his loud car, his arrogant smirk, and the way he seemed to take pride in making her brother's life miserable. But when a summer job forces them into the same suffocating orbit at the Hawkins Community Pool, the ice between them starts to melt into something much more dangerous.

In the sweltering Indiana heat, Brooke realizes that the only thing more intense than hating Billy Hargrove is the feeling she gets when he looks at her like he knows all her secrets.
