Neon-Spider

Okay, you know this story, but let's run it one more for those who never heard of this.

My name's Luke James. I grew up in Harlem, working in my family's music shop, surrounded by vinyl, old jazz records, and people who looked out for each other because nobody else really did. I was Quirkless in a world obsessed with powers, but Harlem didn't care about that. It cared if you showed up, if you helped, if you stayed human.

Then my best friend Dante died. A drug deal, wrong place, wrong time-except it wasn't random. A man named Solomon Graves pulled the trigger, and the city kept moving like it always does. That same night, I got bitten by a spider that never should've existed.

I didn't wake up a hero. I woke up confused, angry, and scared of what my body was turning into. Stronger than I should've been. Faster. Different. I learned to climb walls before I learned what I was supposed to do with that power.

...And no one gave me a rulebook.

Harlem didn't suddenly get safer. If anything, the monsters got louder. So I stayed. I put on a mask, not to be famous, not to be a symbol, but because somebody had to push back when nobody else would. I fought gangs, corrupt systems, neon-lit villains who thought power meant ownership. I learned restraint the hard way.

Three years later, they call me Neon-Spider. I don't see a legend. I see a kid who stayed when running would've been easier. Harlem's still breathing. Still fighting. And as long as it does, so will I.
