Izuku Midoriya arrives at UA with a mission he doesn't want to complete and scars he won't explain.

Katsuki Bakugou remembers a woman who doesn't exist anymore. He remembers green eyes and a warm kitchen and a best friend who disappeared at nine years old.

Now that boy is back, covered in bruises and clouded in cigarette smoke, and Katsuki can't tell if he wants to save him or shake him until he explains what the hell happened. He's stronger than he should be, more damaged than anyone realizes, and more violent than he ever was before.
