The Deinopidae

20 years ago young Kaia had been out playing in her backyard of her parents cabin when she saw a gorgeous flower that she had never seen before, wanting to give it to her mother as a gift she picks up the strange flower as soon as she picked it let out a strange gas from the flower causing her to pass out, when she woke up she had spider legs from her spine with 4 black eyes, there was a spider on whatever flower she had picked up giving her the power of the Deinopidae, fast forward 20 years later Kaia lives on her own in a small cabin, going on her nightly runs to the local convenience store for food, when it was attacked by someone with fire powers, she quickly tries to get away when the person with powers noticed her and started to attack her as well, when she got cornered by the person suddenly a group of people powers save her, and takes her to a city full of people with powers like her as she learns to use her powers to fight and protect the city called the Haven.
