Darklyth is the local law enforcement for the covens of Oklahoma, after a bill has been passed to allow religions to enforce their own laws. Somehow, this bill brought the shapeshifters and every other form of supernatural anomaly to the surface. 
While attempting to investigate a werewolf attack, his wife is  murdered by that same werewolf. On a hunt for revenge, he finds the ties run deeper than the one wolf, and must accept the one part of himself that he hates if he is to have the power to avenge her: the demon.
