Devotion deepens, promises linger, and the outside world slowly fades into the background. Framed by stillness and waiting, the story explores how love can feel safest when nothing is allowed to disturb it-even when holding on begins to cost more than it should.
- this is a short story i wrote for my creative writing class. i tried something new compared to what i usually try to write. i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed the whole process of writing this :)
