The apocalypse was the start of everyone's downfall, that was almost twelve years ago. But for Eleanora, her downfall was twenty-two years ago. The day she was born.
Her mom died during childbirth and she herself almost died too. Her father hated her from the very moment he found out.
When the apocalypse started she was already prepared, knowing how to survive solo. Until she met Diana and her two little kids. Only one making it out years later with Nora.
Nora would say the worse day of her life was the also the day she met Maggie, Elijah, and Josephine. It was the day she was raped and forcefully impregnated.
Maggie led her and Bella, Diana's daughter to their gated community. Where they were safe for the first time in a while.
Nora gave birth to Maddie months after the day she met Maggie. Giving her a miracle in the ruined world. A beacon of happiness for when she didn't know if she could keep going. Her and Bella were her reasons to live.
Til a small group of solider like people broke in and slaughtered their people. Nora escaping with Maggie's son and Maddie, not able to save Bella.
The remains of their community met up and Maggie led them to a new area, where she knew more gated communities were. While there, Nora learned to trust and let herself be happy. Meeting people who became family and saved her, just as she saved them.
