When Manon,s father, the King, told her that he'd promised her away to the Beast King, she was terrified. Not for the reasons you might think, though. Being married to a Beast didn't scare her so much. No what scared her was the thought of what he might do to her once he learned that she didn't possess the charm and beauty that her two younger sisters were famous for. This is my version of beauty and the beast. It's inspired in part by a fairytale I read as a child, (I think it was called The Sun and the Moon). It's about a woman who got married to a man, who's face she was never allowed to see, but whom she had to share a bed with every night in the dark. Finally, I've added a bit of fur and fang to the story, so I hope you enjoy.
