Lydia Evers knew Manhattan was strange to begin with when there were so many people in the city each with their own issues and of course the gang wars in the city from Dracon and even outsiders trying to take over
Lydia knew it well as her father was a retired officer and knew every day before her mother passed what he had to witness
But she never imagined this
As Lydia is locking up the hair salon she works at for the night, a visit of Dracon's men results in an unexpected vigilant saving her, and she realizing when trying to patch up their wounds in thanks what they are-

Now Lydia has a new friend she's trying to help adjust to the new modern era, and Brooklyn is eager to learn
But with the protecting the city of the Manhattan clan alongside a former traitor clan member named Demona, Xanatos' crimes and actions, the pack to even the third race of the Fae Folk, one Detective Elisa Maza knowing of the gargoyles and helping them and Lydia and Brooklyn finding themselves slowly falling for the other alongside other madness
