Prince Xathan has spent his life serving the EernTree, an ancient power that grants order through silence and obedience. Raised by the Blackroot Covenant to be a perfect, invisible weapon, he believes control is protection-until an ambush leaves him alive and the Tree's guiding presence suddenly absent.
