Sam, an ordinary kid with an extraordinary spark of Portal Master energy, is accidentally transported to Skylands during a catastrophic magical event. Cut off from Earth and unsure how to get home, Sam must navigate a world of floating islands, ancient magic, and villainous forces who see a human Portal Master as either a threat... or a prize.

Each chapter centers on a different region, mystery, or villain faction, slowly revealing a larger conspiracy tied to the origins of Portal Masters themselves.
