An alternative universe for Red Dead Redemption 2 /\ Levi Harper, a young greenhorn living in the burgeoning town of Valentine, is met with terrible misfortune when his parents suddenly perish from tuberculosis. Orphaned and barely surviving on his own, Harper bumps into a particular outlaw on his way to collect a debt from Thomas Downes; Harper, knowing of Downe's advancing tuberculosis, advises the debt collector, Arthur Morgan, offering instead to pay off Downes' tab himself- inadvertently changing the course of the Van Der Linde gang's history.

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series. I hope this story can give fans a small glimpse of the world we might soon see on screen.
