Memories and feelings don't just live in your head - they settle in your body too, physically and mentally. You will remember the warmth of joy in your chest, but also the ache of loss in your hands when you have nothing to hold onto, the pain and hate where it really breaks you into pieces and makes you cry. Life throws hard challenges at you, but those are the challenges that build you. They train you to stand on your own, to get stubborn in a good way and to get stronger for yourself. And honestly, that's why it gets entertaining - because every time life throws a punch, you get to prove to yourself you can take it and still get up and fight. It's rough, difficult, but it's building you. Character, morale, grit. All of it. But here's the thing I can't figure out... is falling in love hard because love itself is difficult, or because I'm terrified of feeling that deeply again? Maybe the challenge isn't love. Maybe the challenge is me, and I have to figure it out.
