Tim Victor, a half-"turned" zombie hunter, has nothing left in life but a quest for revenge against the zombies that ruined it. Jem C. McGrath, a psychology major, has been struggling to find a job ever since rumors about zombies being caused by "Z-Pills" led most to consider her profession dangerous.
But when the pair are suddenly tasked with handling an urgent errand to Philadelphia, their goals are put within reach. Their destination is right beside the Neuro-Z headquarters - where McGrath's latest job interview is, and where Tim's final hunting target lies in wait.
Both are tested as they navigate the roads of a world struggling to adapt to a zombie epidemic it doesn't realize exists. Which turn will they take? Will they stay stuck on their paths of death and denial, or will they learn to put their differences aside?
(The Turning Point is a novella initially posted on Substack. I'll be using Wattpad to release the uncut version - featuring both extended scenes and mature content I had to remove from the main release. Hence, the MATURE tag. As the majority of cuts were made for pacing reasons, this piece exists as a special gift for fans who want to see all the deleted scenes. Not all content will be consistent with the Substack canon or as polished as the main release. Consider it a "deleted scenes" reel.
