Every summer, the wealthiest families in the country retreat to Harbour Point, a secluded coastal enclave where the rules are different and the past is easy to outrun. For seventeen-year-old Chloe Whitmore, Harbour Point has always been a place of freedom; late nights on the water, sprawling houses on the bluffs, and a version of life untouched by the expectations waiting back home, surrounded by a group of teens who treat the town like their personal playground.

But this summer is different.

Anchored by a forbidden romance with a local boy who exists outside Harbour Point's illusions, Chloe must decide what kind of future she wants: one that preserves appearances, or one that demands the truth.
