This is a post-canon continuation fic eight-year time skip story that begins the moment Deku learns the truth, and realizes the last eight years were never empty at all. They were full of someone else's quiet devotion.

This is NOT a slow burn... more like instant detonation. 

Traumatized and romantic, they find their happiness here in this story. 

A few notes going in:
- This fic is written in alternating first-person POV (Bakugo / Deku). 
- PTSD, survivor's guilt, and war aftermath are explored, including therapy.
- i literally don't know if there will be smut in this yet, I'll update as I write lmao
- Izuku is a teacher at U.A. at the start of the story. Bakugo is a Pro Hero

Updates are planned bi-weekly (hopefully)
