Mercy

Elizabeth MacMillan doesn't come from riches or fame. She comes from blood-spattered fields, unnamed dirt roads, and war-torn ghost towns. So to sell off her old identity and remake herself, to be dropped off somewhere new and unknown, was a worthy expense. But she can never go back - which is fine when every friend and relative has either been blown to hell, or left as she has.
