I swear

I had a dream, where I saw a girl get her school bag taken... leading to a scene in which she was aside another girl who held IDs and the backpack, claiming it was just to make sure no one else took it. The main girl who looked like Maya Hawke then says bluntly and slowly: "I swear my mom isn't dead.". This teacher talking to both girls looked at the one who had taken the main girl's belongings, saying something about her murdering the main girl's mother. After the school's principal, counselor, or whatever authority the adult was let the two girls go... the side girl who had stolen things ran off down the school's hall, and along somethings, I understood these two at least used to be friends. The side girl ran out of the school while the main girl followed her... the ex-friend then said, "Watch this." grinned, and walked in front of a passing car. My dream ended with this side girl being unconscious and being attended by others nearby, leaving the main girl to watch in shock.

I don't know what had motivated a dream like this in my head. Maybe it was a combination of Tv series and my own imagination. I have no idea why the main girl I was viewing looked like Maya Hawke, or why her only line was "I swear my mom isn't dead.". But I've been thinking about it for a while and decided to make it my own story. Enjoy this weird and probably short story of my dream and what I think it was about.
