This is not a story about winning a war. It is a story about what it costs. About a boy who learned to be brave when no one was watching. About a girl who saw him clearly-and loved him anyway. As the world closes in and destiny demands its price, Harry chooses the path of sacrifice, believing it is the only way. Hermione refuses to accept a future built on his absence. Here, every heartbeat matters. Every thought is a thread in the fragile alignment of hope, strategy, and the relentless pull of what must be done. And in the quiet corners of her mind, Hermione remembers, reflects, and fights-not just for the world, but for the people who matter most. Between forests filled with shadows, unspoken love, and choices that leave scars, this story asks one question: What if the bravest thing isn't dying for the world... but letting someone stay?

While sitting in my room in April 2020, vibin', I'm suddenly launched into the Clone Wars universe and find myself on a world in the Outer Rim roughly 5 months after the Battle of Kamino. Salt and self-awareness of fanfic tropes ensue, but I soon realize I have bigger problems; the Bad Batch is after me to help them on a mission. Not only that, but this isn't exactly the Clone Wars I remember. Why are they after me, you ask? Good question, let's find out together.
