In the saccharine bubble of Empyrean, a single question has shattered eternity. Seven angels exiled and cast from the realm and erased from minds and records alike-an angelical Elite terrified of what discoveries may arise if not dealt with swiftly.

The First Fall.

Millions of years later, demons roam the Earth, punishing real sin with death-until Asmodeus kills a powerful Seraph consumed by sexual desire, who preyed on married women under the guise of divine blessing. The Seraphs, terrified of exposure, erased Asmodeus's name and burned away his sense of taste, creating The Binding to silence any who might speak the truth again.

They entrusted the accidental descendant of the slain Seraph-a young priest burdened by blood-to create a demon hunting order with one mission: kill anything from Perdition.

In the present day, two thousand years after the Second Fall, Perdition runs like a tycoon. Helmed by Lucifer Morningstar, their mission is to curb real sin on Earth. But with every prayer, Seraph Sandalphon's divine bindings make The Ache debilitating and the demons can no longer take it. The commander of the Lust Division takes it upon himself to crash The Binding and reclaim his name-setting in motion a reckoning that will force a conflicted heir to confront the very legacy he was born to uphold.
