18 year old Ashton Grey is the number one prospect in the 2012 American Canadian Hockey League drafts. He's a bright forward with lots of potential and though scouted by many teams he was drafted by the West Virginia Stallions, playing alongside his long term idol Ellias MacKinnon.

Ellias MacKinnon is one of the strongest and most feared hockey players in the ACHL he's determined, cruel and no one truly knows who he is. He's a notorious party boy but doesn't date and never speaks about his family. To everyone but his teammates he's a cold hearted player with a tremendous desire to win. But playing a physical contact sports with a deep set hatred of physical touch isn't the easiest thing to do.

Ellias won't let his walls down, he swore to his younger self to never get emotional or let anyone in.
But despite his less than sunny personality that never stopped Ashton's desire to learn from the man he idolizes.

The force is tighter the stakes are higher and with the Stallions on a 5 game win streak the pressure to keep up is on. As the games go on the more hotel rooms are shared, conversations are had. And as Ashton starts to grasp the reigns of being a professional player, Ellias is forced to confront the one emotion he swore to never feel again, LOVE.
