Flame Tongue is an ancient language, only used for creatures tied to fire. When a Phoenix soul is crosses with a human soul, Amy is born. Amy is an only child and her mother died at birth, she only has her dad left in her family. Aaron is a soldier for the Kingdom of Nowin, an orphan close to starving, joining the fight to take his kingdom. Amy lives in the Kingdom of Murcia, at war with the Kingdom of Nowin. Murcia's war is being lost, and the last weapon they have is Deimos, the last dragon, Murcia's last hope. Murcia can't communicate to Deimos because they have no way of speaking Flame Tongue. Amy is one of the last people who can translate, negotiate, and order Deimos to fight for them. Read how Amy learns to be free of her burden, while encountering a strange love story at a time of war. If Amy can't persuade Deimos to fight for them, then it will be the end of Murcia. If she does persuade him, it will be the end of Nowin. Read to find out what happens!
