The light that glows brightest

After leaving Paldea, the only home she's ever known, Liko is attending Indigo Academy in the Kanto region, with nothing but a pendant she believes to be nothing more than a good luck charm. Slowly but surely, she makes friends, gains a Pokemon partner she trusts, and finally begins to feel comfortable there. That is, until a sketchy stranger appears, claiming to have a letter from her Grandmother mentioning the pendant. Dubious, she tries to run, but is faced by more strangers in similar uniform to the first. She prays for a savior, but no help comes. Now she, along with her Sprigatito, has only one thing on her mind. Getting herself and her pendant as far away from these people as she can.

Friede doesn't arrive in time to save Liko, so she runs away and is now being tracked down by not only Amethio and the Explorers, but the Rising Volt Tacklers.
