Ayame is back, stronger and happier then she has ever been. The girl just wants to find the one boy she loves, seeing as she left him hanging.
The red-head is heartbroken to find the Inuzuka with the one girl Ayame can't stand. To make matters worse, his new girlfriend just can't help but rub her relationship in Ayame's face.
With a life that seems like too much too handle, Ayame just needs a shoulder to lean on once again. Shikamaru seemed like the perfect choice until feelings start showing that are better of left unseen.
Ayame is lost in finding who she truly is.

Side note: While the early chapters stay true to the original Naruto universe, but after chapter 19, it will no longer be as canon to the Naruto universe because I don't need the buildup from stuff like the chunin exams. I decided to write this story because I could never find a Shikamaru x Ino fanfic that truly resonated with me. While I do ship Temari and Shikamaru, as well as Sai and Ino more, I found it frustrating that there weren't any compelling fanfics featuring this pairing. So, I took matters into my own hands and created my own! This is my first time even writing a fanfiction so if you see any errors, I am so sorry and please let me know so I can fix them.
