Fleetkit's mother Squirrelstar looked at her, concern in her gaze. "Are you sure you want to hear it?"
Fleetkit nodded, curious.
"Your father Bramblestar and Hawkfrost were half-brothers. They both loved each other very much
But Hawkfrost was power hungry and would kill to get where he wanted. In the end,
Your father had to kill him to save my father Firestar."
Fleetkit shivered and drew closer to her mother.
"If I was bad would you still love me?" She asked
Squirrelstar licked her daughter on the head. "It will never come to that."
But it did.
