Skye is continuing to be on the run from Zeus, but he isn't her biggest problem now. After camp half-blood going up in flames and skye almost dying, the group had become much more careful about what they did and tried to avoid any places that could be ancient. But they can't avoid all the ancient stuff for long. Eryndor and the evils were still out there. And now that the evils, Zeus' hunters, and every camper at camp half-blood thinks that Skye is dead, the group might have a chance to find out more before an attack comes.
