You could hear the crowd from the outside of the club. I argued with my friends that a concert wouldn't take my mind off of things but they insisted anyways. As we made our way through the crowd all I could hear was everyone starting to talk about the next act. I was focusing on where I was walking as my friend pulled me through the crowd, trying to get a better spot. Someone on the mic announced, "Everyone give it up for COUNTERFEIT!!!" I didn't recognize the band name until I saw him. When I looked up to the stage not too far from me all I saw was eyes as blue as the ocean.

This is set in 2018-present. After Stranger Things has wrapped up and his new Quinn audios I've definitely found myself wanting to read a fanfic for JCB but there aren't as many on here. I hope you like it please go easy on me I haven't written in a long time. I wanted to write something that was respectful to him and something the fans would enjoy.
