Heaven's Lightning: Season 1

We all know the story of the first Spinjitzu master and how he used the golden weapons to create the realm of Ninjago. However, what if there was something that contributed greatly to the future. The heaven's wolves were a humaniod race of winged wolves hailing from another realm. When their realm was destroyed, they sought a way to escape. They came to the realm of Ninjago, where the first Spinjitzu master allowed them to make a home, and in turn they became his guardians. When the green ninja prophesy was foretold, it had a part that everyone seemed to overlook. A decendent of the stars would protect the chosen one with the wrath of the heaven's and shining wings.
