I was watching her, waiting desperately for her answer. Honestly, my entire life seemed to hang on it.
Will she forgive him? Does she still feel the same way about him?

I know my Divi. She wouldn't do that.
I'd seen it-the love in her eyes. For me.
I didn't even realize I was holding my breath.
"Please, Divi, say something. Your silence is scaring me," he pleaded.
And then she spoke, her words slicing through my soul, the words felt unreal, as if my own ears were betraying me.

My knees started trembling, my eyes felt heavy, I couldn't stand there anymore witnessing the love of my life reciprocating someone else's feelings so- I left.
