But when her rebellious streak finally pushes her parents too far, she's sent away to the one place she swore she'd never step foot in-her grandmother's house in the quiet, sleepy province of Aurora. For Althea, it's a nightmare. No nightlife, no luxury, no friends-just endless rice fields, slow afternoons, and a town where everyone knows everyone. But things take an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with John Ethan del Rosario-the ever-smiling, ever-reliable son of the barangay captain. As the days pass, Althea starts to question everything she thought she wanted. Because maybe-just maybe-this little town, this boy, and this unfamiliar life aren't so bad after all.
