Off Tracks

When sport racing takes over the world and becomes the biggest and most anticipated sport, children begin to dream young about becoming a racer. Racing was everything to Paris, just like many children, and she dreamed on being on the racetracks one day. Winning tournaments and ultimately winning the final race, The Superbullet, to gain fame and money. With each team made up of a city, Paris, coming from Corona, California, she dreams of joining the Corona team composed of her favorite racers: Ceres, Elias, Darien, and Velia. After Velia announces that she will be leaving the team, Paris has a chance at joining. Her idles aren't perfect, the races aren't glorious, and the competitive nature leads to heartbreaking decisions being made. Paris has to realize it soon enough, before the end of the season, so it won't break her.
