Mabel McIntosh has gotten herself in quite a sticky situation! After her car broke down in the middle of Gardenia, Mabel has to look around for ways to make money to get it fixed so she can drive back to Towncity Beach. Luckily, she is able to find work at a networking party along with a seemingly straightforward deal from one of the models: help maintain her and her sister's farm and her sister can help fix Mabel's car.
The only thing is, the model's sister happens to be Maria Gallegos, a woman with a criminal past she'd rather keep under wraps as she works part time at a flower shop to keep the farm afloat.
