I used to think the blood and screaming were just dreams.
Then I met him.

Hawkins has felt wrong to me from the beginning, fear lingering in dark corners that never seemed to relinquish. It's like I've been standing outside a conversation, waiting for my chance to speak. Except that chance never comes. Being the sister of Steve "The Hair" Harrington isn't easy. I'm never in the spotlight, always the side character, the one nobody really pays attention to.
Everyone says that it's "anxiety." Or "nothing." But when a man no one else can see starts showing up in the ever-growing corners of my life, I begin to wonder if I'm the only one seeing the truth of the world. Though I might just be losing my mind.
