Baraka, an egotistical bastard of a cattle warlord who also happens to ironically be an avid reader gets offended by an author's words about his group, North Horr Raiders from the latest book to enter his library. In response, he seeks to reprimand the author by showing her what he and his group are capable of in reality to readjust her point of view. However, as much as the plan to kidnap her goes well, the plan to reprimand her goes down the drain when when he's beaten at his own game. Makena, a recent graduate is finally living her most wanted and sweetest dream, being a published author. You'd think achieving this dream would bring her a sense of peace and satisfaction, but with it comes a hurricane better known as Baraka. He is a description of everything that's reckless, controversial, morally unacceptable and apparently, her type. Now she wonders if she'll be able to wade through said hurricane and emerge in one piece. This is a story of an unforeseen, risky and controversial love.
