Sammer never believed in love. To him, romance was nothing more than cheesy lines, fake promises, and unnecessary drama. Marriage? Even worse. He had plans, goals, and absolutely no interest in getting emotionally attached to someone. But one dinner arranged by his mother changes everything. Enter Yashika - a successful CA, strict when needed, soft at heart, hopelessly in love with poetry, shayari, and romance novels. A girl who believes love exists in the smallest moments, handwritten words, and stolen glances. Their first meeting? A disaster. She calls him emotionally unavailable. He calls her "too filmy." So they make a deal. For two years, they will stay nothing more than friends. No pressure. No love. No expectations. Because Yashika wants time before marriage to truly know the person she might spend forever with... while Sammer agrees thinking friendship is safer than heartbreak. But what happens when late-night conversations become comfort? When fake flirting starts feeling real? When the boy who hated love begins waiting for her shayaris? And what happens when the two-year promise starts becoming the very thing keeping them apart? Maybe love was never cringe. Maybe he just hadn't met her yet. ✨ TROPES Arranged Marriage Friends to Lovers Slow Burn Romance "Love is Cringe" x Hopeless Romantic Opposites Attract Emotional Unavailable MMC Flirty FMC Soft Domestic Moments Late Night Calls & Teasing He Falls First But Harder "We're Just Friends" Shayari & Love Letters Comfort Couple Energy

I don't think it's about finding myself as much as it is about remaking myself. I had been this girl for awhile, and then I started changing. Heading in a new direction blindfolded. I think it's time to take the blindfold off and create myself with the broken pieces that are left. I know it's not about trying to make myself whole again because that's not going to happen if pieces are missing. It's about making do with what I have left, and preparing to lose a few pieces in the future. It's about the art of mending a broken heart.
