I get how some people may feel like the bits they get on the way to the romantic high point aren't hot and heavy enough for them personally. To me, I love a build up and it is worth it. But if that's not your cup of tea and you prefer the books to be more about the relationship and love from the beginning - please try a different story by the amazing authors on this platform. Supernatural blood ran through her veins and was ingrained in her DNA. It's only when she's finally allowed past the veil clouding her vision that she finds out what has been happening to her for as long as she can remember.
